Frequently Asked Questions


The mission of Executive Education is to provide business professionals with the most current business theories and practical applications to enhance their success and the success of their organizations. This mission is accomplished by offering a variety of non-degree open enrollment courses and workshops at LSU as well as developing and offering custom programs at an organization’s location.

Participants may utilize their Executive Education completion certificates to apply for professional CEU’s or PDU’s.

Please contact the Executive Education office by phone 225-578-0089 or e-mail exed@lsu.edu to discuss your organization’s development and training needs. Senior staff from the LSU Executive Education office and LSU Executive Education faculty will be available to meet with you to better understand your organization’s particular needs and begin developing a course or courses tailored to those needs. Throughout this process, representatives from your organization will remain actively involved to ensure that the program being developed is addressing your development requirements.

Most of the open enrollment Executive Education courses are held on the LSU campus in Baton Rouge, LA. However, some open enrollment workshops are offered from time-to-time at other locations in Louisiana and surrounding states.

Custom programs are either offered on the LSU campus or at the location of choice of the company or organization requesting a particular program.

​The faculty for executive education courses and workshops are drawn from the award winning LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business as well as from other leading national and international business schools, and experienced workplace practitioners.
