Custom Courses

LSU Executive Education custom designs courses to address specific needs of a company by linking learning goals with business strategy. The need can be general, such as building leadership skills or advancing strategic thinking. Or it may be more specific, such as organizational interventions to address issues specific to your department, location, or entire organization.

Common custom topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Applied Teambuilding
  • Dysfunctions of a Team
  • Mediating Conflict
  • Change Management
  • Effective Communication and Feedback
  • Stress and Time Management
  • Managing Up and Down the Organization

LSU Executive Education can also organize and facilitate customized corporate retreats based on a chosen theme and goals. Our faculty are available to provide consulting in needs and opportunity assessment, human resource management, policy and procedure development, process mapping, lean process improvement, corporate university curriculum development, and more.

I want to personally thank LSU Executive Education custom programs and Associate Director Michelle Boullion for providing St. Elizabeth Hospital with an exceptional experience. The speakers we utilized through this program far exceeded our expectations and really engaged our audience through the entire program. I highly recommend their services to any organization. Thank you for exceeding our expectations.

I had the pleasure of attending the inaugural session of Rising Stars at LSU in June 2012.  After completing the sessions, I recommended that Crest Industries use it for development of our high potential employees. I worked closely with Michelle and Robin to customize the LSU Rising Stars program to fit our specific company needs.  We included some additional modules and individual coaching for the participants.  There were twenty-four employees who successfully completed the initial program.  Our participants were enthusiastic about the content, loved the instructors, and made the most of the coaching and individual development plans. We have tweaked the original content, added more sessions and have twenty-three people in our second launch.  One of Crest’s “most important goals” is leadership development and this program has made a huge impact in preparing employees to take that next step in their career growth. The team at LSU Executive Education is very responsive to our needs, easy to work with, and they make learning fun.  I would recommend the Rising Stars program to any company seeking to develop the 2-5 year high potential employees regardless of their positions within the company.  It is worth every penny and the benefits are priceless.
