LSU Coronavirus Updates & Information
P-EBT PROGRAM
Louisiana has been approved for the new Pandemic Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT)
program. This program will provide extra help buying groceries for the families who
normally receive free and reduced-price meals at school. This includes all families
attending a Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) school. To receive these benefits,
families must complete an application by going here.
Effective 11/8/21 - Pick-up & Drop-off
The Louisiana Department of Education and the Office of Public Health are now allowing
parents back in child care facilities. Beginning Monday, November 8, 2021 we will
allow drop off and pick up at the playground doors for all classrooms. This will allow
families access to their child's classroom, with minimal interaction with children
and families from other classrooms. We ask that in alignment with LSU policy that
masks are worn when entering your child's classroom.
The gates to the playground will be open in the mornings from 7:15-9:00am and in the
afternoons from 3:45-5:15pm. If you arrive outside of these times, please come to
the lobby door.

This surveillance method is being performed at universities across the United States
to identify potential outbreaks without the limitations of individual testing. Status
Levels will be updated on Thursdays.
