The Cain Department of Chemical Engineering hosts a faculty-led academic study abroad program. The goal of this study abroad program is to provide Chemical Engineering students an opportunity to experience chemical engineering education in an alternative international environment. Students will also learn about cultural and industrial sites around Wales in the United Kingdom through organized course excursions. Students may also participate in optional cultural excursions in London, Oxford, and Bath.

Program Calendar – Summer 2020
June 6-7 → Students arrive at Bay Campus of the University of Swansea and move-in to on-site accommodations
June 8 → First day of class
July 10 → Final day of class
July 11 → Students depart University of Swansea

This program will be held at the new Bay Campus of the University of Swansea.
Swansea University is a public research university located in Swansea, Wales, in the United Kingdom with over 20,000 students. The Bay Campus was built at a cost of £450 million ($600 million) and opened in September 2015.
