Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Laboratory
    • Maintains operability of all pilot units; replaces/upgrades equipment when applicable
    • Assist students and instructors in understanding the operating limit of lab equipment
    • Supervises, trains, and assists lab technicians for Undergraduate Lab
    • Maintains an accurate inventory of all lab supplies, equipment, and tools
    • Coordinates lab tours with multiple organizations year round
  • Safety
    • Ensures all students and staff are following lab safety protocols
    • Coordinates with the local EHSA to make sure the entire department is caught up on safety training
    • Works with local EHSA and department chair to implement a culture of safety for the department
