BIO

Courtney Gonsoulin, M.S., CCC-SLP Clinical Faculty, joined LSU COMD in 2009. She has extensive experience working children and their families with specializations in pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and cleft palate and craniofacial disorders. Courtney has specializations in Early Intervention with emphasis on multidisciplinary and cross-training approaches. Courtney teaches and supervises graduate students in the areas of pediatric feeding and swallowing disorders and cleft and craniofacial disorders.   Courtney is also the Pediatric Program Supervisor for Speech Pathology and the Coordinator of the The Boh Center Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing Disorders Program with Ochsner Hospital for Children.    Courtney also serves on the Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital Cleft and Craniofacial team, is a member of International Association for Pediatric Feeding and Swallowing and serves on the board for the Capital Area Partners Cleft Initiative (CAPCI). She is also a volunteer for the Global Smiles Foundation where she participates in humanitarian missions for cleft care in Beirut Lebanon and lectures internationally with the Comprehensive Cleft Care Workshop.
