BIO

Leslie joined the LSU COMD faculty in January of 2020, as a Clinical Instructor at Louisiana Key Academy and University Laboratory School. She has experience in evaluation and treatment of pediatrics in Early Steps and outpatient settings, as well as adults in acute care, outpatient, and skilled nursing care settings. Leslie has provided intervention for early language, feeding, school-aged speech/language, autism, fluency, developmental disabilities, voice disorders, aphasia, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, and traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. She has participated and been an active member of interdisciplinary treatment teams, patient/family education and training, and interdepartmental staff training. She currently supervises therapeutic intervention for school-aged children with articulation, phonology, language, and fluency disorders. Her current interests include early intervention, articulation, phonology, and language disorders in the pediatric population.
