Accessing Library Resources from Off Campus

LSU Libraries - Distance Education provides assistance with access to library resources including common trouble-shooting tips.


GROK is LSU's online knowledge base, which provides detailed technical instructions for accessing and using a number of resources including commonly used software, course scheduling, Moodle, and the myLSU portal.

Technical Requirements

LSU Online requires that you purchase a computer that is capable of running Microsoft Windows 7 (at minimum) or Windows 8 (preferred). We suggest 6GB of RAM and a 300GB hard drive. You may use a Mac. Not all of the applications required are available for the Mac OS. For more information regarding technical requirements click here.
