In this four part video series we will help walk you through some steps to start your undergraduate research journey, plus provide additional insight and tips on your undergraduate research options and experiences at LSU.
Each Fall, LSU students who wish to submit an application for a NSF GRF are encouraged to enroll in this workshop series during which you will learn from faculty about the fellowship and how best to craft your application.

The NSF Graduate Research Fellowship is a prestigious three-year grant that provides a graduate student with a $37,000/year stipend plus $16,000/year in cost of education allowance to the institution. If you are a college senior or early career graduate student in disciplines supported by NSF (see below), you should consider applying for this Fellowship.
Eligible disciplines are: Chemistry; Engineering (all subfields); Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering; Geosciences; Life Sciences; Materials Research; Mathematical Sciences; Physics and Astronomy; Social Sciences; Psychology; STEM Education and Learning Research.
You MUST be a U.S. citizen, national, or permanent resident to be eligible to apply!
