The Black Faculty and Staff Caucus (BFSC) at Louisiana State University has an established reputation of more than 40 years at the University.  

The purpose of the Caucus is twofold: (1) to serve the special needs of LSU employees by promoting understanding of concerns and providing assistance, education and social interaction for the LSU faculty and staff; (2) and to provide employees and students a proactive organization capable of investigating complaints, addressing problems and working alongside University administration to facilitate resolution.
