Commencement Information
Each curriculum in the college requires at least 120 semester degree applicable credit hours. Students in all degree programs of the college must earn at least 24 of the last 30 semester hours offered toward their degrees as registrants in the College of Science at LSU. The university requires that all candidates for the bachelor’s degree must fulfill a minimum residence requirement of at least 25 percent of the total number of hours required for the degree at this university. Graduation Contract
Each student must see an academic advisor in the College of Science to review and sign a final degree audit report during the semester prior to the semester in which the degree is to be awarded. CoS students will be notified via email when the can complete their graduation contract.

Anticipated Date of Graduation
College of Science students may change or declare their anticipated date of graduation. Current semester graduates or students who have completed the graduation contact, must meet with a College of Science staff member to update their graduation plan. All other admitted College of Science students may declare this date via their mylsu account or submit this completed form to 124 Hatcher Hall or via email at science@lsu.edu.
Note: Once a student has earned 92 credit hours, the scheduling system requires them to enter an anticipated date of graduation. If you have questions about your graduation plan, please schedule an appointment with an advisor.
