Program Manager, Collegiate Recovery
As a person in long-term recovery, I am interested in giving others some of the beautiful opportunities that I have received. I believe that I am at my best when I am of service to others, and even a moderate impact in a recovering person's life can have an impact far beyond just that individual.
I hope to help students in recovery to act with integrity, determination, and to prioritize their academic performance. Building a community is necessary to individuals in recovery, and a successful recovery community on a college campus can work to reshape public perceptions of those who struggle with chemical dependency.

Not just for Sunny Days
It sounds very simple, but I am a proponent of "Sesame Street ethics." One of my favorite pieces of advice is to "Do the next right thing."
I will watch any movie that Paul Thomas Anderson directs, and I struggle to choose just one. "The Problem with Jon Stewart," both the TV show and the Podcast, are must watch/listens for me. My favorite documentary is, undoubtedly, The Last Dance.
Things I'm passionate about
I am passionate about promoting social justice issues, combating climate change, animal welfare, and ensuring that both equity and equality are prioritized as much as they can be in contemporary society.
