New Faculty Summit

Newly hired faculty are invited to attend the 2026 New Faculty Summit. The summit provides a comprehensive overview of LSU's policies, procedures, and resources to ensure a successful and smooth transition into the LSU community. New faculty will have the opportunity to connect with peers, learn valuable information, and embark on their journey at LSU with confidence and support.

Benefits & Retirement Training

New faculty are encouraged to attend a benefits and retirement training within 2 weeks of their start date.

  • Register for the In-Person Option: Monday, August 17, from 8:30 - 12:00 p.m. in the Union Capital Chambers Room (329)

  • Register for Virtual Option: Wednesday, August 19 from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.
