REAL-WORLD, HANDS-ON EXPERIENCES.
Internships are one of the best ways to explore your passions and prepare for your future. We encourage all College of Agriculture students to pursue internship opportunities, starting as early as the summer between your first and second year at LSU.
AGRI 2300: Career Exploration & Professional Development
College of Agriculture sophomores, juniors and seniors are encouraged to take this special professional development seminar. Offered in the fall and spring semesters, this 1-hour course is designed to help you develop your professional toolkit, explore internship and career opportunities, and prepare for the challenges of today's job market. Students in the class will also be paired with a mentor who will provide professional guidance and support throughout the semester.
The course was very beneficial, and my favorite part was the mentoring program. My mentor has been an amazing resource for me, and I hope I am able to stay in contact with them throughout college.
