Representative Phillip R. DeVillier, the 70th Speaker of the Louisiana House of Representatives, was elected to the Louisiana House of Representatives on October 26, 2015. During his time in the Legislature, he has served as chairman of the Retirement
Committee, while also serving on Ways and Means, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Capital Outlay. 

He is the owner of Louisiana Structural Movers, Inc. A native and resident of Eunice, La., Rep. DeVillier has a bachelor’s degree in business management from LSU. He and his wife Lisa have three children.
