Dr. Zvosec’s research is largely focused on organizational priorities, decision-making,
and management, often through the lens of sport employee development and growth within
the positive organizational behavior framework. Her research line is grounded within
human development principles. It is critical to understand how such concepts and principles
can help develop innovative management resources and strategies for sport employee
professional growth and how such strategies dually improve sport organizational performance.
As a dynamic subset of sport employees, Dr. Zvosec also has a secondary research focus
on sport officials and how organizational structures and priorities impact the sport
official experience and can address widespread concerns about officiating persistence
and retention rates.
