LSU Bands Summer Music Camp
June 16 - 20, 2024 // LSU Baton Rouge Campus
The LSU Bands Summer Music Camp is an intensive music camp for high school students (grades 9-12 as of the 2024-25 school year) with wide ranges of experience. Students will have the opportunity to study privately on their instrument, as well as participate in concert and chamber ensemble rehearsal settings, all while working with accomplished professional faculty and graduate students from the LSU School of Music.

Registration & Cost
Registration closes May 31, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
There are pricing options and well as scholarships available:
- Resident - $600
- Fee includes tuition, room and board in an assigned LSU dorm, and meals for the length of stay.
- A separate room key deposit of $20 (cash or check) will be required upon check-in.
- A fee will also be assessed if a participant has more than 2 lockout requests during their stay.
- Residents will be housed in a dorm on LSU campus and must bring their own bed linens (twin XL).
- Commuter - $425
- Fee includes tuition plus lunch and dinner for the duration of camp.
- This option does not include overnight housing or breakfast.
An optional LSU visitor parking pass can be purchased for $22. If you are dropping off or picking up participants only, a parking pass is not needed.
If you are unable to eat the meals provided, please plan to bring a packed meal. No special meals will be provided.
Scholarships Available!
Any students selected to perform as a member of a 2023-2024 All-State ensemble will receive FREE tuition ($250 scholarship value) to attend camp. This scholarship will be applied after registration is submitted and eligibility is verified.
Please email bands@lsu.edu to notify us of your All-State eligibility upon registration.

- Thursday, June 20, 2024, 9:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.
