I continue to do this work to help college students find their place on campus through personal interactions. Listening to their concerns. Celebrating their accomplishments. Updating a policy after getting their feedback. Connecting them to another person on campus. For me, it’s the small details that lead to the most satisfaction in my professional career.

Little did you know

I have been able to navigate life without a vehicle for almost 20 years, even though I have a valid driver license. 

Favorite spot on campus

The courtyard in Acadian Hall. My first office was located in Acadian Hall, and I would spend many lunch hours or break times sitting by the fountain (which was being renovated at the time) enjoying the winter weather in Louisiana versus the winter weather in South Dakota/Nebraska. 

Favorite TV shows

Veronica Mars, The Muppet Show, and Deadwood
