LSU, through LSU Online & Continuing Education, is excited to provide access to Coursera Career Academy – an innovative online platform that offers professional certificates in high-demand fields. This benefit comes at no cost to LSU faculty, staff, and students on the Baton Rouge campus who meet certain eligibility criteria. 

Learners can enhance their career skills with professional certificates developed in collaboration with industry leaders while enjoying the flexibility to learn at their own pace.

  • Industry-Backed Certificates: Courses are created in partnership with industry leaders like IBM, Meta, and Microsoft.
  • Convenient Format: Courses can be completed entirely online, and at your convenience.
  • Practical Application: Courses include hands-on, guided projects that can be used to gain practical skills in new technologies to bolster your resume.

  • This benefit comes at no cost to all active LSU faculty and staff on the Baton Rouge campus and those from the AgCenter and Pennington Biomedical Research Center.

How To Get Started:

1. Follow this link to the LSU Faculty & Staff learning program.

2. Click the white JOIN button.

3. Select the blue “Log in with Louisiana State University” button at the top of the box. You may be prompted to enter your myLSU credentials. If you are not signed in to myLSU, you may also need to approve your sign-in request through your chosen multi-factor authentication.

4. Select whether you're a new or existing Coursera user.

  • New Users will be automatically signed into the LSU Learning Program.
  • Existing Users will need to log in to their Coursera account and continue from there.

5. Once you are logged in, you can access the dashboard to explore the catalog of professional certificates and begin learning.
