As of Fall 2026, Research Ambassadors is undergoing a restructuring
Research Ambassadors is transitioning from a student organization to a departmental organization under the Office of Undergraduate Research. For academic year 2026-2027, students can sign up to serve as research ambassadors for our office on a voluntary basis during the transition period. A new structure will be in place for academic year 2027-2028.
Fall 2026 - Spring 2027: Research Ambassadors Volunteering
During this transition period, our office welcomes students to sign up on a volunteer basis to serve as research ambassadors for the academic year. Students who sign up will be invited to help out with information fairs, recruitment events, LSU Discover Day, and other programming through our office on an as-needed basis.
If you are passionate about helping other students get involved in undergraduate research opportunities at LSU, we encourage you to sign up!

Coming soon: LSU Research Ambassadors
In its new format, LSU Research Ambassadors will be comprised of a select group of LSU undergraduate students who are passionate, dedicated undergraduate research leaders who assist other students in getting involved in undergraduate research opportunities at LSU.
Interested students will be required to apply and interview for a position. There will be defined eligibility and participation requirements that must be met.
