I do this work because someone once did it for me. The faculty and staff at Southern University and A&M College poured into me in ways that changed my life. They taught me how to advocate for myself, build connections, and pushed me to think bigger than I ever had before. Through my involvement on campus, I found my community, built my confidence, and stepped into my leadership. Most importantly, I learned how to be the captain of my own ship.

Nothing changes unless you do.

Moving to Baton Rouge pushed me even further outside of my comfort zone and helped me grow in ways I never expected. Now, I’m just trying to be that same support for someone else by giving back to LSU and to a community that has given so much to me.
