In order to support the safety of the campus community, it is suggested that you do the following:
- Encourage your student to sign up for the LSUalerts
- Encourage your student to download the LSU Shield App
- Download the LSU Mobile App and enable notifications. LSUalerts will be published to the app
- Develop a communication plan with your student in case of an emergency
All information regarding emergencies, campus closures, and protocols will be communicated to your student through their LSU email, LSUalerts, the LSU Website, and official LSU social media.
