Each spring, all LSU Family Association members are invited to campus for our annual Spring Family Fling to enjoy a weekend of LSU athletic events and to experience Louisiana culture and cuisine while mingling with other LSU families. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Registration
The LSU Family Association Spring Family Fling is an exclusive event for members of the LSU Family Association. Registration is required to participate in Spring Family Fling activities.

Registration for all LSU Family Association members opened on Wednesday, January 28 at 9 a.m. CT. All Family Association members received an email on January 28 with the link to register and pay for their family members to attend Spring Family Fling. Please email lsufamily@lsu.edu if you are a Family Association member but did not receive an email notification. You may want to check your spam/junk folders to be sure. |

Registration Fees by Event
Registration for Spring Family Fling events will be a la carte, meaning you can pick and choose which events you and your family would like to register for and attend. Several of the events have limited capacity and are expected to sell out quickly.
Please register and pay for all family members attending any Spring Family Fling events, including your LSU student. All payments for LSU Family Weekend will be made using a credit card on the registration form. There is a 5% processing fee for all transactions. Registrations are non-refundable.

- Cajun Cooking Experience - Cost: $55 per person
- Crawfish Boil Tailgate - Cost: $40 per person (includes crawfish + jambalaya), $20 per person (includes jambalaya only, no crawfish), Free for children ages 5 years old and under
- King Cake Making Workshop & Bingo - Cost: $50 per person
- King Cake Tasting Party - Cost: $20 per person, Free for children ages 5 years old and under
- Mocktails & Masterpieces - Cost: $65 per person
- Zip Line Fun: 1-Hour “All You Can Zip” - Cost: $20 per person
The Spring Family Fling registration fees do not include baseball game tickets, as those must be purchased separately afterward. You must register and pay for at least one event during Spring Family Fling in order to receive the link to purchase baseball tickets.

Spring Family Fling Check-In
12–7 p.m.
Nicholson Gateway Apartments, Canal Hall - 3650 Nicholson Dr.
Registered participants should check in to pick up your Spring Family Fling materials, including nametags, clear bag (one per family), and t-shirts (if you pre-ordered them).
Zip Line Fun: 1-Hour “All You Can Zip”
1–5 p.m.
UREC Challenge Course
Registration is required, and space is limited.
Cost: $20 per person
Come enjoy UREC’s 450 ft. zip line! Guests can sign up for a one hour-long timeslot, which includes all-you-can-zip. This event is open to all ages (minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). Participants must be between 70–280 lbs.
King Cake Making Workshop & Bingo
4–6 p.m. and 7–9 p.m.
Eloise Market and Cakery – 1940 Perkins Rd.
Registration is required, and space is limited.
Cost: $50 per person
Immerse yourself in a sweet and entertaining workshop hosted by Eloise Market and Cakery! During this hands-on experience, you will roll, fill with delicious cinnamon, proof, bake, and decorate your own king cake. While your king cake bakes, enjoy a lively game of bingo. Guests are welcome to bring in their own snacks and outside beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).
Two workshops will be offered. The first workshop will begin at 4 p.m., and the second workshop will begin at 7 p.m. Pre-registered family members should arrive to Eloise Market and Cakery approx. 10 minutes prior to the start of the workshop to check-in and get settled. Once the workshops begin at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m., no late guests will be permitted. Eloise Market and Cakery is located off-campus, and registered families are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from this event.
*Note: If this is your first event for Spring Family Fling, you will receive all of your check-in materials (nametags, clear bag, and t-shirts if you pre-ordered them) at Eloise Market and Cakery when you arrive for the workshop. You do not need to check-in at Canal Hall; just report to Eloise Market and Cakery.
Mocktails & Masterpieces
6–9 p.m.
4-H Mini Farm – 91 Ag Center Dr.
Registration is required, and space is limited.
Cost: $65 per person
Guests will receive step-by-step instructions from an experienced and enthusiastic local artist as they paint an LSU-themed piece of art on canvas. This year's artwork will be announced soon. Enjoy mocktails while you paint. Guests are also welcome to bring in their own snacks and outside beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). You'll leave with your own one-of-a-kind creation!
All pre-registered family members should arrive to the class approx. 10-15 minutes prior to the start of the event to check-in and get settled. The painting class will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and will last approximately three hours.
Wear something comfortable. Aprons will be provided, but keep in mind that paint may still find its way to your clothing.
*Note: If this is your first event for Spring Family Fling, you will receive all of your check-in materials (nametags, clear bag, and t-shirts if you pre-ordered them) when you arrive for the Mocktails & Masterpieces class. You do not need to check-in at Canal Hall; just report to the 4-H Mini Farm.
LSU Baseball vs. Oklahoma
Begins at 6:30 p.m.
Alex Box Stadium
Cost: $10 per ticket
Information about how to purchase tickets to the LSU Baseball vs. Oklahoma game will be emailed to you after you complete registration for Spring Family Fling. You must register and pay for at least one event during Spring Family Fling in order to receive the link to purchase baseball tickets.
A very limited number of tickets will be available in the reserved seating in the bleachers in sections 101, 123, 201, and 223. Standing Room Only (SRO) tickets are also available for purchase.
Students do not need to purchase baseball tickets, unless they wish to sit with their families in Alex Box Stadium. Full-time LSU students will have free admission to the student sections in Alex Box Stadium (sections 95, 96, and 97). Children under the age of 3 do not need a ticket for admission.

The Club at Union Square
Registration is required, and space is limited.
Cost: $55 per person
Join LSU Dining for a live and interactive cooking demonstration featuring your favorite Cajun cuisine! Enjoy a three-course meal including shrimp remoulade, chicken and sausage gumbo, and bread pudding, and get ready – select members of the audience will be called up to help the chef prepare a portion of the meal! A cash bar will be available.
Pre-registered family members should plan to arrive to The Club at Union Square between 11:30–11:45 a.m. The cooking demonstration will begin promptly at 12:00 p.m. and will last approximately one hour.
*Note: If this is your first event, you will receive all of your check-in materials (nametags, clear bag, and t-shirts if you pre-ordered them) at The Club at Union Square when you arrive for the Cajun Cooking Experience. You do not need to check-in at Canal Hall; just report to The Club at Union Square.
LSU Women's Tennis vs. Vanderbilt
Begins at 12 p.m.
LSU Tennis Complex

Free admission is offered for the LSU Women's Tennis matches, courtesy of the LSU Athletics "Geaux Free" program. Simply show up to the LSU Tennis Complex to cheer on our Tigers!

Kick off game day the right way with a classic Louisiana crawfish boil and all the fun of an LSU-style tailgate! We'll have tailgate games, a photobooth, music, and fun for the whole family!
The $40 per person ticket option includes access to enjoy the tailgate festivities + 3 lbs. of crawfish with a side of corn and potatoes, jambalaya, soft drinks, and bottled water.
The $20 per person ticket option includes access to enjoy the tailgate festivities + jambalaya, soft drinks, and bottled water. It does not include access to crawfish.
Registrants may bring in outside food. No alcohol will be served, but registered attendees may bring in their own outside beverages (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

Registered adult family members can try up to eight samples of king cake from some of Baton Rouge's finest local bakeries, then cast your vote to crown the ultimate king cake champion! Registered children (ages 5 years old and under) can try up to three samples of king cake. Coffee, bottled water, and chips are included.

Spring Family Fling is all about celebrating Louisiana culture, cuisine, and the Tiger spirit!
