LSU Chemistry Graduate Student Receives AAUW Scholarship

Congratulations to LSU Chemistry graduate student Laura Sepulveda from the Kuroda research group for being selected as a recipient of the Eleanor Earle Memorial AAUW Scholarship from the Baton Rouge Chapter.
AAUW is a national nonprofit organization that promotes equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. The award recognizes Laura's hard work and the excellence she has demonstrated in her academic and research endeavors.

LSU Hosts Third Annual 'You Be The Chemist' Challenge

LSU hosted a third annual regional 'You Be The Chemist' Challenge, with six teams from two local middle schools competing in the rigorous but fun chemistry competition.

LSU Chemistry Graduate Student Receives WCC Travel Award

Alexandra Aucoin, an LSU Chemistry graduate student and a member of the Pojman research group, has been honored with an ACS Women Chemists Committee (WCC) Eli Lilly Travel Award for Spring 2024. She will present her work at the Eli Lilly Poster Session during the upcoming ACS Spring 2024 event in New Orleans on Tuesday, March 19. After presentations, award recipients will be recognized at the WCC Luncheon.
